Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention CenterGaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center

Gaylord Opryland, situated on approximately 172 acres in Nashville, Tennessee, is the largest non-gaming hotel in the continental United States. Gaylord Opryland opened in 1977 with 600 rooms adjacent to the then new home of the Grand Ole Opry. It has grown to 2,881 rooms with 220 suites and 600,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, 15 specialty retail shops, 10 restaurants, 5 lounges, and Relâche Spa, a luxurious, innovative spa and fitness center which compliments the epic beauty of the property’s world-famous indoor atriums.

Gaylord Opryland is known for providing superior products and services to the meeting and convention industry. It has been the proud recipient of numerous prestigious awards throughout the property’s 27-year history, including the coveted Gold Key ‘Elite’ Award in 2002, 2003 and 2004, a designation that only five properties in the United States can claim. Successful Meeting’s Bronze Circle inductee in 2004, for being named a Successful Meeting’s Pinnacle Award winner 20 years in a row, the property has also received numerous Corporate Meeting & Incentive’s Paragon Awards (1992-1998, 2003-2004).

Gaylord Opryland is also a great place to bring the family for leisure. The hotel is committed to bringing first-class entertainment options for the entire family to enjoy. Millions of visitors from around the globe visit Gaylord Opryland during the world famous “Country Christmas” when over two million holiday decorations and lights illuminate the property.

The interior of the hotel is divided into five areas -- the Delta, Garden Conservatory, Cascades, Magnolia, and Convention Center -- featuring 9 acres of indoor gardens, restaurants, and retail shops. The Delta atrium looks and feels like an old Southern river town enclosed in a 4.5-acre Southern-style indoor garden under a 15-story glass dome. The Delta atrium also features over 30,000 plants, an 85-foot fountain and the Delta Island, a New Orleans-themed island featuring retail shops, lounges, a food court with a variety of quick-service restaurants, and 7 meeting rooms. The Garden Conservatory offers guests an opportunity to stroll through a 2 acre Victorian garden containing over 10,000 tropical plants. The Cascades atrium features a 2 acre water garden with over 8,000 plants, 3 waterfalls, ranging in height from 23 to 35 feet, and a synchronized water show. The Magnolia atrium features a dramatic staircase, elegant fireplaces, and a variety of shops and restaurants to pick from. The Convention Center provides any meeting or convention with over 600,000 square feet of functional meeting, convention, and exhibit hall space, including a full service Kinko’s business center capable of handling business needs. The Gaylord Opryland epitomizes the “all in one place” resort destination, a signature trademark of all Gaylord Hotels™.

Gaylord Opryland is part of the Opryland complex consisting of the Grand Ole Opry House, the General Jackson Showboat, the BellSouth Acuff Theatre, and Gaylord Springs Golf Links. Over the years, the Opryland complex has developed strong local and national name recognition, synonymous with entertainment, quality products and excellent guest service.
