Kemp GallineauKemp Gallineau
Senior Vice President & Chief Sales Officer

With more than 14 years of experience in the hospitality and hotel management business, Kemp Gallineau serves as senior vice president and chief sales officer. In this position, Gallineau leads the company's national sales office, provides direction to the sales leadership at each Gaylord property, and works with brand marketing to promote the hotel company to all of its customer segments. He manages the brand's relationships with major industry trade associations as well as key clients. Gallineau also works to protect and enhance the close relationship between the brand and its customers. He is a firm believer in the STARS-first culture at Gaylord Hotels, which emphasizes service, innovation and employee dedication.

Gallineau joined Gaylord Entertainment in February 2001 as hotel manager of Gaylord Palms and a member of Gaylord Palms' pre-opening leadership team. In 2004, he moved to the company's flagship property, Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee as vice president and hotel manager. While responsible for the operational aspects of this property, Gallineau also had oversight responsibility for the Radisson at Opryland, the General Jackson Showboat, Gaylord Springs Golf Links, Wildhorse Saloon and the Transportation Division.  In 2006, Kemp moved back to Florida to become the GM for Gaylord Palms and in 2008, he spent almost five months supporting Gaylord National prior to Phil Coffey's arrival.

Prior to joining Gaylord Entertainment, Gallineau served as director of the rooms division for the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, where in the year 2000, they experienced the resort's highest guest satisfaction rating, while still attaining a record year in profit.

Previously he was director of process improvement with Westin Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla. For seven years, he held many positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, including rooms division manager, chief engineer, director of housekeeping services, director of guest services and telecommunications manager.

Gallineau has received awards for his significant contributions to the hotel and resort industry, including the Westin Innisbrook Leadership Award in 1999, the Walt Disney World Dolphin Leadership Award in 1996, and the ITT North American President's Award in 1997. While he was employed at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, the resort was named Hotel of the Year in 1993 and 1997 and received the Governor's Sterling Award (Rapid Response Team) in 1998.

Before joining the Hospitality Industry, he spent nine years with AT&T as regional sales manager and operations manager.
